Intro Excel 2007

I have used Excel for years, all self-taught. I'm starting back at the beginning to get better at things I haven't really used.

The section about viewing the file extensions through Start>computer>Tools...I was unable to follow, but I did find the extensions on the Microsoft Office button under Recent Documents. When I rolled the mouse over a file, the extension showed.
