Hi, Karin. I am Louisa and just registered in this course. I have a lot of experience in Computer Science, but I never did anything in PDF. I have scanned docs, but is this to know anything about PDF?? I want to learn, as I think is a wonderful tool to have beautiful docs.
I live in Chicago, Ill. I work as a Teacher and take courses to make easier my profession.
I will try not to ask many questions.

Hi! My name is Francine. I am Music Teacher in Richmond, Virginia. I am interested in learning how to create PDF files. I am aware of how to download pdf files but have not had the opportunity to learn how to create them! I am looking forward to using this new tool for myself, colleagues and students.

Hey Karin, My name is Mike. I live in beautiful Duluth, MN. I started selling microcomputers in the early 1980's and am the proud owner of the original HP laser jet printer which I personally bought ($2400.00) because the computer chain I worked for wouldn't invest in risky new technology. My sales went through the roof and the rest is history. I work for a large non profit nature reserve and am working with Adobe Acrobat to produce dynamic fillable forms for our website. I am also interested in programing these forms for direct import into our Quickbooks point of sale and accounting software.

Hi Karin & Class,
I'm Coral from Australia & just an ordinary person who realises the value of PDF's.I'm late in introducing myself because at first I thought I would be out of my depth with the lessons. I am pleased to say that this is not the case. I am really appreciating them.
I particularly like being able to download the PDF of the lessons-I was printing them out on earlier classes.I also like the Adobe Reader "How to" sections.It really helps when you can see things.

To obtain a certificate of completion, you must view all lesson pages and complete all quizzes and assignments. Once you are finished with the last lesson of the class, go back to the class overview, click the View your class transcript link, and then click Download your certificate of completion. After the class end date you can still download certificates for completed classes by going to My classes on the left navigation bar of the home page, clicking class transcript and then clicking Download your certificate of completion.

My name is Kathy, and I live in Upstate NY; I work in a QA department, and have taken many of the Office classes through HP. I am looking forward to delving into something other than Office, and hope I can understand these lessons as well as the previous classes I've taken!

Greetings all.
My name is Judy and I live in Metairie (suburb of New Orleans), Louisiana. Recently I retired and am working with four different Associations where their newsletters are e-mailed and I use PDF (somewhat limited) to convert the newsletters so they stay in the original format while going through the e-mail world. I hope to learn more about PDF (program and documents) and find a simple way to un-protect forms so that the data can be updated.
