Hello, my name is Beatrice. I am a home PC user and am having a great deal of trouble with my mouse (it often freezes). So I am looking for answers to this problem but thought that at the same time it wouldn't hurt to learn more about all the components. I have used a PC for many years and took some classroom classes early on. Therefore, my familiarity with the computer is good, except when it comes to troubleshooting. Looking forward to becoming clearer.

Hello Beatrice,
Usually mouse problems are either the result of an old or dirty mouse, or a driver problem. If your mouse is a ball type, try taking it apart and cleaning out the inside cavity with q-tips dipped in alcohol. If it is not a ball type, dirt is not likely to be the problem. Also try downloading the latest driver for the mouse from the manufacturer's Web site.

Hi all,
My name is Virgil.I love surfing on the PC and digital photography.I also like to tinker and know why and how things work.A few weeks back I got up enough courage to change the RAM in my PC.IT still works!I now would like to dig deeper into the hows and whys.
