It's hard to say which antivirus program is the best. In a way, that's a subjective thing. Some experts will say one while other experts claim something totally different. What it comes down to is what antivirus program meets your personal needs (and your budget) the best.

Check into your ISP, too...some provide free antivirus applications to all subscribers. (It's cheaper than fighting the viruses that plague them through you.)

I hope this helps!

If you don't have an internet connection, then you shouldn't need antivirus. But if you're taking this course, you're accessing it through the internet, so I assume you're talking about a different computer.

The threat is from other people that are on the same network that you're on. A network is like the Internet, where bunches of computers are all connected together through some common thread (the web).

I hope that helps!

I've never heard of a virus or worm infecting an anti-virus application. I won't say it can't be done, but I've never heard of it being done.

And the antivirus that mites is looking for might be Kapersky??

Kaspersky is the name your looking for, and I have found no problem with it for the last two years.

I haven't used Kasperky, but I've heard it's good. You can always try it and if you don't like it change to something else.

Good luck!
