Personal Note: In Memoriam CKT 1919-2009

Dear Students:
You may have noticed my absence from the message boards late last week. Upon my return from a business trip to NYC early Friday morning, I learned my Mom had passed away some time Thursday night or early Friday morning (her body was discovered at 6:30 AM). I apologize for any inconvenience caused by my brief hiatus from the boards: I hope a death in the family is sufficient to earn your understanding and forgiveness.

I too would like to express my condolences on your loss. My own mother passed away in 1987 and my father in 1994. I only have an older sister and two nieces left for family now. One appreciates life just a bit more I think when something happens. My thoughts are with you as well.
