Very Ed-ucational!!!

Posted: Oct. 25

Hi Ed,

Long time not hear from me huh? I am working in my field now(i know you're proud of that) and unfortunately, i didn't do well on my mcas(word, excel, powerpoint) exams. I was wondering can you give me a website that can give me a assist on this because i did scratch the surface on either exam. Also do you know about a website that is called onlinecashsuccesskit.com? Thanks ed for listening to my reply and i appreciate this a great deal. Have a great week.

Dear TMitchell:

Here are some resources for you to check out:

1. Ucertify.com MCAS resources: http://www.ucertify.com/certifications/Microsoft/mcas.html

2. QuickCert MCAS training courses: http://www.quickcert.com/ms_mcas.cfm

3. Certiport Certiprep for 2007 MS Office Certs: http://www.certiport.com/Portal/desktopdefault.aspx?page=common/pagelibrary/certiprep_purchase.html

4. ComputerCoach Online Training courses: http://www.computercoach.com/microsoft_office_plus_package.php

In addition most of the big practice test companies offer practice tests for these exams. Joan Preppernau has also written a study guide for these exams (Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Certified-Application-Specialist-Study/dp/0735625484/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b)

HTH,

PS: If you're interested in taking a course or multiple courses, check out your local community college offerings before signing up for online stuff. They'll often offer training more cheaply in a live classroom setting than the online training companies do.
