Sleep mode

I have selected the sleep time but the computer does not go to sleep. If I cleck the sleep button the computer goes to sleep for about a minute and the it wakes up. What do I do?---Carl

There are many reasons why a computer might not go into sleep mode. Two of the most common are that there is a program running in the background that is incompatible with sleep mode, or that your display driver needs updating.
