Excellent intoductory tutorial for the person who has developed simple web sites in HTML and is looking for easy to use tools, rapid deployment, and more extensive implementations.
Thanks, this class was very easy to follow and I will be changing my pages to Dreamweaver CS3. I am looking forward to the advance class of Dreamweaver CS3.
My reasons for rating three stars instead of five like most other reviews are these. Much time was spent teaching CSS and XHTML. Those are two subjects in themselves and should have been covered as such. One of the more difficult things for me was to figure out exactly what was needed to connect to the host server. You glossed over it and then said to get the info from your web host. These are minor complaints and I don't want to be critical of a free service. It is very generous of H-P to provide these classes free of charge. For those who enjoyed this class I would suggest you visit the Adobe site for more free classes.
I have two web sites that I have written manually in html. This brings me up to date on the latest technology which is much easier and provides more options. Many thanks!
Sorry to spoil the torrent of accolades, but I found this course very frustrating to follow. It assumes too much knowledge on the part of the student. I would not recommend it for someone with no experience in producing websites.
Very informative! Have used the help option in dream weaver several times, and this class clears up alot of questions and problems that I had. Great Job!
