Using the HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar
Welcome to the "HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar" demonstration.
A web browser toolbar is a set of commands or tools grouped together, usually in a horizontal bar—hence the term "toolbar." Toolbars save you time
by letting you quickly search the web, access your favorite websites, email accounts and other services.
In this demonstration, you'll see how to install the free HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar, and find out about the wealth of information that's just a
click away.
The HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar gives you easy, one-click access to fun and useful HP resources, including Snapfish, creative printing projects, free
online classes and much more! You also get safe and convenient web search and email access.
To install the toolbar, click the Download button provided in this demo to begin downloading the installation files. The
installation website will open in another browser window.
Installation is simple. Click the Get Yahoo! Toolbar button if the installation doesn't start automatically. After that, just
follow the prompts.
In the Yahoo! Toolbar Setup dialog box, click Next.
To accept the user license agreement, click I Agree.
Decide whether you want to participate in the Yahoo! tracking program, which is optional, and then click Install.
You're notified when the installation process is complete. After that, a Welcome box appears. Let's close it and start exploring the toolbar.
The HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar appears toward the top of the browser window.
The HP logo, HP Create, Snapfish and HP Smart Deals buttons appear automatically on the toolbar. Let's use each of them, one by one.
The HP drop-down list provides all of your HP resources in one location, including drivers and downloads, customer support, the HP store and much
more.
Let's maximize the Internet Explorer window to view more of the available toolbar buttons.
Let HP Creative Studio help you unleash your creativity with many free print projects, such as cards, calendars and much more. You can also take
free online classes.
Use fast and convenient one-click access to Snapfish, the leading online photo service provider.
Snapfish lets you share, store and print your photos with ease. Just sign up for a free account to get started. If you're already a Snapfish member,
this button gives you easy access to your account.
Finally, HP Smart Deals offers loads of freebies and discounts for popular brand-name products and services.
In addition to the default buttons, you can add buttons to your toolbar for quick access to your favorite websites. To add one of these buttons,
just click the plus sign for the button of your choice. If you don't see one you like, you can make a button of your own.
Enter the website name of your choice in the Web Address (URL) field.
Enter a label for the website in the Title field. This creates a name for your button on your toolbar.
If an icon already exists for the website you've entered, that icon appears. If an icon doesn't already exist, you'll see the default icon. You can
change the default by selecting an icon from the Icon Gallery and clicking Save.
The new button appears in the button list on the right side of the page. This list corresponds to the order in which the buttons appear on your HP
Yahoo! Printing Toolbar. Use the up and down arrows to rearrange buttons, or click remove to delete a button from the toolbar.
Once you click the Save Changes button, followed by the Finish button, the changes will appear on your
toolbar.
As you can see, the changes are reflected on the toolbar.
Finally, let's take a look at a few other HP Yahoo! Printing Toolbar features.
The web search tool lets you find information on the web with minimal key strokes.
And you can quickly access your Yahoo! email account.
