Dan Mabbutt
Dan Mabbutt's life has been an exact parallel to the timeline of computers, and his whole life seems to revolve around them now. Dan attended the University of Utah, and graduated (with honors) with a degree in Computer Science when it was still part of the Electrical Engineering department. After a career managing corporate software development projects, Dan now offers independent consulting, training, and writing with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies. An active author, Dan has written dozens of articles about software for computer magazines, and is the Site Guide for the About.com Visual Basic Web site, even though he has to work around five cats while he does it.
