Diane Barrett is an instructor, technical reviewer, and trainer who works at Remington College in Tempe, Arizona, where she's spent two years teaching in the Computer Networking program. Diane currently holds CISSP, MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A+, Net+, Inet+, and Security + certifications and has been instrumental in formulating a unique security program that may be taught at the local campus of the college. Previously she taught at another technical college and spent seven years working in a software development environment. She's also the president of NextGard Technology LLC, which specializes in security awareness training and consulting. The company focuses on helping businesses attain success through proper security. In her spare time, Diane enjoys bowling and playing in the park with her two Labrador Retrievers.
