Michael Solomon, CISSP, PMP, TICSA, CISM, is a full-time security speaker, consultant, and trainer who specializes in development and assessment security topics. An IT professional and consultant since 1987, he has worked with several Fortune 500 companies. He has also taught courses on software project management, C++ programming, computer organization and architecture, and data communications at Kennesaw State University. Michael holds an MS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Emory University and a BS in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University. Michael co-authored Information Security Illuminated (Jones & Bartlett, 2005), Security+ Lab Guide (Sybex, 2005), Computer Forensics JumpStart (Sybex, 2005). He also wrote and did on-camera delivery for LearnKey's CISSP Prep e-learning course. In his spare time Michael serves as an assistant Scoutmaster for his two sons' Boy Scout troop and assists his wife, Stacey, in homeschooling their sons.
